I love buying things to try, whether it's a newly release products or the ones that have been released for some time already.  These are a couple of things that I've been wanting to buy for quite a while now.  What better time to buy new products than on a new month, right? 😉


Lipstick

As you all may know, I have a huge love for lippies.  My love for lippies is just endless that I'm always scolded by my mum for buying too much.  I mean, a girl can never have too much lippies... right?  Anyways, I found out that most of my lippies are liquid lipsticks or in a pot form.  Therefore, I'm on a hunt for an actual lipstick!  As in the ones that comes in a bullet form!  Been loving Nyx liquid lipsticks lately (smlc & lingerie), are any of their bullet lipsticks good?  What other brands would you guys recommend?

Matte Eye Shadow

I love how some people can wear eye shadows everyday and look so natural!  Why is it that every time I wear an eye shadow, it makes me look like I'm going to a party or somewhere special?  I assume it's because of the glitters & shimmers that are in my eye shadows.  Most of the cheap ones that I come across are never matte.  Let's search for a good and affordable matte eye shadow!

Mud / Clay Mask

Is it weird that my choices of mask is on the opposite sides of the spectrum?  I mean, mud mask is known to be hydrating while clay mask are designed to cater for oily skin people.  Even though my skin is oily, it also have some dry patches lately.  So it's not weird to want both types of masks at all, right?  I'm always looking at the Freeman masks, you know, the ones that comes in a tube.  But I'm not sure why I still haven't purchase it yet.  Have any of you tried their masks before?  What do you guys think about it?

Is there any other good and affordable products that you guys think I should try?  What are you looking forward to buy in November?

I was debating on whether to write up this post for a good couple of weeks now.  I really want to share with you guys what my skin has been loving these past couple of months but at the same time I'm thinking whether anyone would believe me when I say that I have a fairly clear skin which I'm proud of lately.  I mean, I've never posted a picture of myself (be it on this blog or on the social media) therefore, some of you might not believe my current skin condition.

But I'm just so happy with my skin right now that I just felt like I have to share the products that I've been using lately on my skin.  So let's start now, shall we?

To be honest, I'm always lazy when it comes to skincare routines until I went for my first ever facial experience.  I've decided to take better care of my skin from there on, and I never looked back!  I'm still kinda lazy on some days, but most of the time, I try to keep up with the routine.

Two things that made be bought this cleanser in the first place, the fact that it states that it is suitable for oily skin; and the fact that there's a cute picture on the packaging.🙈 Since it contains tea tree oil in it, it gives it a slightly cooling sensation when I'm cleansing my face, leaving my face feeling cool and fresh afterwards.  It also lathers easily which means a little goes a long way with this cleanser.

I've repurchased this toner so many times that I actually lost count.  All the different types and brand of toners is probably just the same in my opinion.  But for some reason, I keep on buying this particular one.  There must be something about it that keeps me coming back for more!😉

If you've read my blog before, then you'll know that I've did an in depth review on this product.  It's a great all in one product for lazy girls (like me) out there.  I just apply this baby on my face and consider my skincare routine all done.  It is slightly sticky and makes my face kinda oily, so I'm trying to get through this product as quickly as possible.

I've featured this product in a haul blog post which I did last year and yes it looks like the one from Estee Lauder (which is why I bought it).  For a cheap eye cream, I thought that it would cause irritation on my under eye.  Turns out it's doesn't (which is a good thing).  Have not seen any miracle yet from this baby, but it's good to use an eye cream especially as we're getting older, right?

In my opinion, sun cream is the most important thing in a skin care routine.  Certain sun cream can be a little too sticky or oily.  But not this one!  It's very light weight and it has a matte finish to it.  Best thing is...  It also acts as a primer!  Yeay to double duty products!!💗 This might be one of the best sun cream I've tried so far.

This seems to be a product which everyone rave about a couple of years back.  Even though I may be late in the bandwagon, at least I'm joining it now!😄  Since going for a facial, I've been using this as a scrub/mask once or twice a week.  It makes my skin feel all smooth and fresh.  Smells really good too.  Like those Hacks sweets in the white packaging that you can get here in Malaysia.

This is the first ever product that I reviewed on my blog.  I love it back then, and I'm still loving it right now.  Now that my skin is much better, I don't reach for it as much.  However, if there's any spots threatening to come out, I would just apply this product and the spots will just miraculously disappear. 

And that, is my current skincare routine guys.  I don't have a different morning and night routine; lazy girl issues.😅 I sometimes even skipped a couple of the products from this current routine, which is a habit that I'm trying to fix!

One of my fave thing to do when I'm in the drugstore is to swatch lippies!  The back of my hand would be full of swatches the moment I walk out of the store.  Is it just me?  Please tell me that I'm not alone.😅

If you've read my previous blog post, you probably know that I'm obsessed with matte lips.  Therefore, I'll be sharing with you 3 lippies that I've fallen instantly in love with the moment I swatched them.

MATTE lips are a popular trend nowadays.  Most of the brands are coming out with their own version of matte lipsticks.  Being an absolute sucker for lippies, I too am trying to follow this trend.  However, having dry and chapped lips means matte lipsticks looks terrible on me.  If you guys are like me, you'll definitely understand how dry and flaky it can be for us when wearing this type of lipsticks.

Therefore, I went on a search for various products to try and solve my lip condition.  That is where I stumble across these products.  The Innisfree Smooth Lip Scrub and the Innisfree Treatment Lip Tint.

I've always wanted to use a lip scrub but is always unsure of which one to buy.  Lip scrubs can sometimes be super expensive.  Making me wonder if it is better than the cheaper ones.😕  Leaving that aside, I bought this Innisfree Smooth Lip Scrub when I was in Korea for KRW4,000 (about RM12).

The scrub itself comes in a squeeze tube instead of a pot which makes it more hygienic I suppose.  Unlike most of the lip scrubs available which uses sugar as their exfoliant, this lip scrub uses fine walnut and coconut shell granules which means that it is softer on the lips.  There's also camellia oil and shea butter in it to help moisturize and soften the lips.  I've been using the scrub once/twice a week and I do feel that my lips becomes visibly softer after using it.

I also bought the Innisfree Treatment Lip Tint from Korea for KRW10,000 (about RM40).  It does seems to be a bit pricey but since I really wanted to try it, I just let it slide.  It comes with 2 options which is #1 Cherry in Honey and #2 Orange in Honey.  As you can see from the colour, I bought the cherry one.

It's definitely not a tint in my opinion as there is no or extremely little colour pay off when I swatched it at the counter.  I bought it to use as a treatment, therefore I was not disappointed about it not having any colour.  I felt like it's a little bit too sticky for day use, so I only applied it before going to bed at night.  I can still feel it on my lips when I wake up and my lips definitely feel softer after that as well.  However, it's not really something that I would bring in my purse as the tint seems to be leaking even when it's just sitting on my vanity.  Innisfree people, if you happen to be reading this, please change the packaging of this tint.😞

There might be a better product that can help to repair dry and chapped lips, however, I do feel like these two products are worth trying out.  My lips does not look as flaky or chapped as it used to when I'm using matte lipsticks which means that the products must have done something right, right?

Being a total k-beauty junkie, Innisfree has always been one of the many brands I look forward to trying out since lots of people rave about their products.  I'm especially interested in their No Sebum Mineral line which is targeted for people with oily skin.

Living in Malaysia can be really tough due to the weather, and having an oily skin makes it even tougher!  The heat can sometimes makes my makeup look cakey or it can even make me look like a grease ball after a few hours of out and about.  Therefore, I have been loving two of Innisfree's products which helps me in looking semi-matte throughout the day.

These two products, the No Sebum Mineral Powder and the No Sebum Blur Primer, have been my go to products recently.

I have gone through a couple of the No Sebum Mineral Powder before this.  In fact, it's my first ever Innisfree product.  I just love it so much that I had to get it again and again!


I use it to set my makeup and for a quick touch up throughout the day.  The powder is really fine, almost like baby powder to be honest.  Since it's a translucent powder, it doesn't make my face look cakey.  It works just like a blotting sheet except in a powder form.  And that's not all... This powder can also be use on the hair!  No you're not reading wrongly.  I did said hair!  When my roots starts to get a little greasy, I'd just pat a little bit of the powder onto the greasy spot and there you go, a less greasy hair.  It does have a slight herbally scent to it.  But the scent doesn't lingers.

I've always wanted to try out the No Sebum Blur Primer from this line but was always hesitant.  Like do I really need a primer?  Will it do anything for my face?  So, when I went to Korea earlier this year, I bought one for the sake of trying out.


The primer itself has a 'skin-like' colour to it.  Unlike some primer which are either white or clear.  It applies easily and it's not greasy at all.  I didn't realize that I have visible pores until I tried this product!  I only use it on my nose area.  After applying it and applying foundation/bb cream, my nose seems to be so smooth (as if I'm using photoshop!)  Okay maybe that's a little to much...  But it really does makes my skin especially the nose area look clearer.


I bought both of the products from Korea, No Sebum Mineral Powder for KRW6,000 (around RM24) and No Sebum Blur Primer for KRW10,000 (around RM30).  But if you're living in Malaysia, Hermo sells it for a cheaper price compared to the stores here in Malaysia, I think.  As for any of my international readers who want to purchase this products, you can check out this website.

I'm always intrigued when seeing people go for a facial or a spa.  Is it really that relaxing?  Why pay a lot for something which you can do it yourself at home?  I mean...  Buy a good cleanser, toner, moisturizer, mask, scrub and whatever it is you need for a perfect facial session.  Yes? No??

So, one day I just decided to go for a facial (just to try it out) since it was affordable and the place was near my house.  Found the place via Groupon and just for the sake of trying out, so why not right?  Well...  I've never been more wrong.

The facial was so relaxing except for the extraction part which was a little torture since I have lots of milia (according to the lady) on my nose area.  What is milia?  I always call it as whiteheads.  I guess I'm wrong 😐  Milia is said to be the tiny white bumps that is on your skin (if you have any that is)  Well, I'm no expert in this area, so I shall not elaborate on it.

But guess what?!  I've had those milia things for so longggg and felt like there's nothing I can do about it since I've basically tried tons of products.  Went for a facial, and guess what?  They've managed to reduce the amount of milia I have on my nose area!

After going for the facial, I felt like my skin has cleared up a bit.  I don't feel as insecure as I was back then going out without any makeup on.  But occasionally, there would be times where my skin is just not in it's best condition (especially during that time of the month)


But really, going for a facial (4 times already!😅) does makes me feel like I'm taking better care of my skin since the lady obviously knows what she's doing.  And I somehow feel good about myself every time I finish the session.  The best part of getting a facial for me is obviously getting rid of the milia which has been on my nose area since forever!

If you're like me who is always debating whether to try going for a facial or not, just give it a go!  It might be the best decision ever for your skin 😉

Hey guys!  Sorry for not blogging for so long.  College has been really challenging these past few months😫  Or maybe I'm just lazy to think of what to write 😵  Enough excuses, let's get reviewing shall we?

Few months ago I found this new hair dye at my local drugstore (not sure if it's new or not, but it's definitely new to me)  It says that it's in a shampoo form which I love.  And you know me, I love trying out 'affordable' hair dyes.  So when I saw this product, I knew I had to get it!  It's the Lolane Nature Code Color Shampoo.

I was definitely excited to try out this new hair dye when I bought it.  I got mine in N2 Dark Brown.   The box that it comes in is kinda small, unlike the typical hair dye box that you'd find.  As you can see, like any other hair dye, it comes with the colour, developer, treatment/conditioner and also gloves.

I do have to say that I was kinda disappointed with the product😞 simply because my hair doesn't seems to be changing colour at all (maybe a teeny tiny bit, but that's all).  Maybe it's because I didn't apply it properly, since I didn't see the full instruction in the box until I've finish applying the product on my hair which by then is already a lost cause.  Or maybe it's because my hair is long, so logically I might need 2 boxes😕.  Whatever it is, I'm still disappointed.

If any of you have been reading my blog for quite a while, you'll probably know that I went to Korea about a year ago.  And obviously I've bought a couple of cosmetics and skincare from there since K-Beauty seems to be all the rage nowadays.

I went in an Urban Dollkiss/Baviphat shop in Myeondong which I don't think many people talks about.  It's always the big brands like Etude House, Missha, The Face Shop, etc.  But the staffs were really friendly and the products there were affordable.  The sales assistant was showing us the Hinoki Gel Cream, which sounds kinda weird but the packaging is OMG!  And why Snow White some of you might be asking.  Well, once you've seen the packaging you'll definitely know why.  I swear Korean products have the cutest packaging ever!

Cushion foundations seems to be all the craze nowadays!  If any of you do not know what is this cushion thingy, it's actually just like any other foundations/bb creams/cc creams except it's in a more compact and convenient form where you can chucked it in your handbag for a quick touch up throughout the day.

Last year when I went to Korea, I picked up a couple of cosmetics (since Korea is famous for it) and I got myself one of the cushion foundation.  I know I should probably get a few since it's pretty cheap over there compare to here in Malaysia.  But I'm just not that impressed with this cushions since I've tried the Laneige ones and my oily skin don't like it at all.  So I thought, why not just buy one, maybe it'll be different.  That's definitely a long intro *sigh.  Enough of babbling!!



So here I am, reviewing the 'Baviphat Magic Girls Long Time Water Light Cushion'.  Well that's a mouthful isn't it?  Oh one more thing!  I think that Baviphat has change it's name to Urban Dollkiss or maybe it's just from the same company.  Correct me if I'm wrong.

• Like any other cushions, it comes with a mirror and the packaging is pretty much the same.  Nothing special about it.
• I got mine in the shade #23.  But it's still a little too light for me.  I believe there's only 2 shades available (although it's not really a surprise since most Korean cosmetics are like that)
• There's an SPF50+ PA+++ which is amazing!
• There's a scent to it.  Kinda like the scent you'll have in a skincare (if that makes any sense at all)
• Dewy finish.  Which is what I was trying to avoid from buying.  But the sales assistant said that it was a matte finish (clearly not since whenever I apply it, I look like a grease ball.)  But if you like the dewy looking skin like what most of the Koreans go for, then you'll might like this cushion.
• Needs to be apply with a light hand otherwise it'll start looking cakey.
• It was super duper cheap for a cushion.  It was KRW4800 when I bought it last year.

Bingo Superstars

Yup!  You guys heard it right!  It's the very classic game 'Bingo'.  For some odd reason, I find myself going back to this game every single day.  It's that addictive!  It's obviously a very simple game and if you guys are like me, who grew up playing and loving this game, you'll definitely like this game.  The only downside to it is that it needs internet connection to be able to play it 😞

Charades!

Here's another classic game which is great to have when you have friends around and wanted to play a simple yet fun game.  This is kinda a like the game 'Heads Up', however, it comes with more categories so you'll get a lot of options to choose from.  It's a really great game to have in your phone!  I even played it in class (before the lecture starts, of course)
