Online Shopping for Dummies

I am definitely the kind of girl who is obsessed with online shopping. My friends are always asking me how I can constantly shop online without the fear of being cheated. So... I've decided to come up with this blog post to share my experience with any online shopping beginner out there.
Well... If I can sum up a word on online shopping, it would be GAMBLE. Don't you agree? Online shopping is definitely a gamble. You'll never know if the things that you buy will turn out exactly as described, a tad different or just totally off. These are the basic tips that I've learnt from my past experiences of online shopping.
- Buy cheap items.
- That doesn't sound very convincing now is it?😅 Well... What I mean is that every beginner should try buying affordable items on their first go. Something in a price range where you won't feel bad if your items goes wrong. Not that I'm saying that it will. But you know, just to be cautious. When you're satisfied with your purchases, you can slowly increase your price range.
- Trusted websites.
- Online sites which are constantly being advertise on tv, radio and magazines are usually the kind of websites people often visit which also means that people trust these websites. I feel like the chances for you to be cheated when buying things from these websites (companies) are really low as compared to buying things from a Instagram (personal) page.
- Sizing/shade issues.
- This is definitely a little hard to solve. Especially when it comes to buying shoes/makeup products online because not every size/shade matches every time. So, if you're buying these kind of stuff, you'll need to be extra detail and careful. Measure the sizes carefully and allow a few cm difference or try the makeup products in store first before buying online.
- Review doesn't matters.
- Certain websites have a column where customers could write their review on the products that they've bought. Some are positive and some are negative. But I would suggest you to not fully rely on the reviews simply because I've bought a couple of items with some negative reviews on the website but when I receive my order, I'm pretty satisfied with it. Different people have different opinion on things. That is definitely something that everyone should remember.😊
